From the Roanoke Times:
Obama accused his GOP critics of having “selective memory” about the economy and said, “When I walked in we had a $1.3 trillion deficit. That was gift-wrapped and waiting for me when I walked into the Oval Office.”
And then you proceeded to quadruple that deficit, Mr. President.
What a shameless demagogue this president is. The GOP’s shoddy fiscal stewardship in no way excuses Democrats’ far more egregious fiscal irresponsibility. The arsonist who just burned down an entire house doesn’t get to complain about pre-existing smoke damage.
